What is Horseman's Gambit
Horseman’s Gambit is both a Degen game studio and a NFT collection.
Traditional P2E games lure player in to buy their proprietary token, so that devs and early investors can pump-and-dump on retail for risk-free profit. As gamers we hate how rotten this space has gotten, we decide to make on-chain games without ever selling token(or in-game NFT for that matter). As a team, we continue to experiment with truly fair and fun games that you can earn DAI playing with DAI.
TLDR, we make fair crypto games where you can make money using game theory skill.

What is Horseman Royale
Horseman Royale is the first game developed by Horseman's Gambit. The game is a zero-sum social experiment about war of attrition, inspired by crypto game Fomo3D.
The game is running fully on-chain.

Basic Mechanics
Be the last survivor on the leaderboard.
In order to participate the game, the player first summons a random hero for 0.1 ETH(cost is different on different chain). When the first player interacts with the smart contract, the 24 hour timer is set up in motion. For every additional hero summoned, 60 seconds are added to the timer. When the timer hits 0, the game ends and top 10 players on the leaderboard win the grand pot.
When a hero is acquired, player can select an opponent on the leaderboard to duel against. The combat is automated, the result of the combat is random, based on both heroes' stats.(we use chainlink VRF to ensure fairness)

If a hero wins the combat, it will replace its opponent on the leaderboard. While the hero stays on the leaderboard, it will continuously earn dividend as more players enter the game. If the hero stays undefeated until the game ends, it will win the money in the grand pot.
If a hero dies during combat, it will be become a ghost. A ghost can no longer enter the arena. However, ghosts can continuously earn tribute as game keeps running.
