Amber Island is the world’s most exciting web3 whisky membership community launched and backed by the family-owned leading international retailer Gebr. Heinemann. This community brings together individuals sharing interest for exquisite whisky: from seasoned collectors and enthusiasts, to whisky curious beginners, Web3 natives, and NFT beginners.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our mission is to make whisky collecting easier, safer, more accessible, and transparent with the power of Blockchain technology.
We are committed to provide our members exclusive access to rare and limited-edition whiskies that are sourced directly from some of the world’s most revered distilleries.
Every bottle sold through Amber Island is connected to an NFT. This digital certificate of ownership is linked to the physical asset, providing complete transparency on the provenance of every bottle sold. Members bottles will be stored by Amber Island, until claimed by and ship to the NFT holder to ensure optimum conditions are maintained.
Apart from the access, we also create immersive experiences and events (physical and digital) around rare and exclusive spirits for our members.

The Glenturret is one of the oldest working whisky distillery in Scotland and is a specialist in rare batch whisky production. The 30 Years Old release for Amber Island is one of the most scarce release from Glenturret. This batch of 30 bottles is drawn and combined exclusively for Amber Island. The 30 bottles come with an unique bottle label designed by web3 artist Mark Constantine Inducil, making this release even more unique.
