About the Ad Astra Festival

At the end of the year 2115, the Starborn generation are getting ready for the largest holiday in the solar system - the Ad Astra Festival. This year, the Space+ community will be joining from Earth!

The Ad Astra Festival was a community holiday established by the first Starborn to get to Mars in an effort to unite all humans living off-Earth in a celebration of humanity. 

The festival begins on Jan. 4th, commemorating the historic launch of Luna 1, the first spacecraft to leave Earth’s orbit. To the Starborn, Luna 1 represents humanity’s first step into what lies beyond Earth. The festival continues for 11 days, referencing the first time humans set foot on another celestial body with Apollo 11's moonwalk.

The Space+ community will be launching a 11-day festival that gives back to the Starborn and grows our community for the future.

• Each day, we will be doing a giveaway for a space-related prize.
• On the EVEN days of the festival (Jan. 4, 6, 8, etc.), the giveaway will be open for anyone to register -  make sure to invite family and friends to join in our season of giving!
• On the ODD days of the festival (Jan. 5, 7, 9, etc.), only Starborn or Launch Pass holders will be eligible.

Every day of the festival, a prize teaser and Premint link will be dropped for the community at 6pm ET and close the next day at 2pm ET. Each prize and its winner will be revealed the following day at 3pm.

The festival event will conclude with a community event on Jan. 14th to celebrate humanity’s journey among the stars.

Space+ is excited to announce one Starborn holder will join Astronaut Sian Proctor at NASA's Kennedy Space Center for an upcoming ZeroG weightlessness training. To date, Space+ has flown 12 community members in ZeroG, selected 5 community members to train as astronauts, and is sending one community member to space on an upcoming Blue Origin New Shepard Mission.
